Global Cryptocurrency Benchmarking Study 2017

Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance published its first Global Cryptocurrency Benchmarking Study. It is the first study to systematically investigate key cryptocurrency industry sectors by collecting empirical, non-public data. It covers the sectors of cryptocurrency payments industry, exchanges, wallets and mining areas.

The study gathered survey data from nearly 150 cryptocurrency companies and individuals, and it covers 38 countries from five world regions. The study was led by the research team of Dr. Garrick Hileman and Michel Rauchs.
